Oregon Country Gardener: I had been an RN for over 35 years,just joined my husband in retirement this year! I love living in the country and am becoming more interested in how much of our own food we can produce! We are raising chickens, and selling eggs; have thought about getting goats or pigs, but have not made the plunge to full mini-farming yet! We do have raspberries, strawberries,apple , peach, cherry and plum, and walnut trees. As well as an old tall pear tree.
